About the Trip:

• Ski Lessons at Tyrol Basin: As we move into the season of snow, we are partnering with Mappy Hour to invite you to come ski with us! Your ticket includes all day rentals, lift ticket, lessons and transportation. 

What to expect :

We will be meeting at union park on 2/1 at 7:30AM bus leaves at 7:45AM

Please arrive early to sign liablity waivers. 

Transportation to and from the slopes will be provided. We will load the bus at 7:45AM. The ride to the ski resort will take at least 2 hours. So we recommend bringing / eating a big breakfast. The bus does have a bathroom for you to use along the way. 

When we arrive at the resort we will be fitted for our skis, poles, helmets, and boots. We will collect our lift passes and head to our ski lesson. The lesson should take about an hour and a half. Here we will learn the basics like stopping, turning, riding the lift and slowing down. This is where your gear will come in handy. We will be falling and rolling in the snow so having proper snow gear is STRONGLY recommended. 

If you have bags and loose items you can leave them on the bus or you can rent a locker at the resort. 

After the lesson you will have a couple hours to explore the resort on your own, grab some lunch or just chill out if you find that skiing is not the thing for you!  the Apres starts at 1PM, and we love a good party. We will show you the designated meeting spot before we part ways.

Between 3PM and 4PM we will drop off our gear, collect our belongings and change our socks (if wet). Then we will meet at the predetermined spot to load the bus and head back to Union Park. We should be back by 7PM (no promises tho)!
