Glenview Woods

The Best Place to See Fall Colors in Chicago

Glenview woods happens to be one of my favorite places to go leaf peeping. During rush hour it will take you about 30-40 mins to get there from the city but its worth the drive. This forest preserve is a part of the north branch trail. All you need to do is type Glenview woods into your GPS and it will lead you to a parking lot with plenty of parking. The trail is easy to find too. You can pick paved or unpaved for your adventure. This is apart of the 20-something mile trail so you can just turn around when you feel like it and head back to the car. This is an easy, well marked, and heavily trafficked trail, so you dont need to worry about being lost or afraid. Plus worst come to worst theres plenty of cell signal.Â
